I am a traditionally trained homebirth midwife. I have been working as a midwife since 1998. I provide confidential, professional care for well women through the entire childbearing cycle, specializing in homebirth and waterbirth services. I am committed to providing every client with gentle, sensitive, holistic assistance.

I am a Christian, married to Jason (a web developer and a terrific guy), a home-schooling mother, and a midwife. My first baby was a cesarean due to physician-distress. I didn't dig it, and I never went back. My journey really started with my second pregnancy, and Bradley Method® Childbirth Classes. All of my other children were born at home. I have attended over 1000 births in all settings: homebirth, birth center, water-birth, and hospital. My training has included apprenticeship, attendance at conferences, workshops and seminars, as well as extensive home study and correspondence. I seek out and participate in continuing education opportunities continuously.

I enjoy group and individual prenatals, Bradley Method® Childbirth Classes, La Leche League Meetings, ICAN (International Cesarean Awareness Network) Meetings, Positive Birth Movement Meetings, Improving Birth Network and March for Moms Rallys and Meetings, Positive Birth Movement Meetings, healthy food co-ops, park days, and moms-night-outs. There is an opportunity to hang out with me and the moms at least weekly.
